PVC Prefilter
I made a prefilter grate to keep filter pumps from sucking in turtles fish, and anything else large. I use Mag flow pumps, which have a 3/4" threaded input which the grey pvc electrical connector fits into. I get the below pvc pieces, drill holes in the ends and use small zip ties to hold everything together.
